Where are your photos stored?

When you “upload” a photo to the album, it is not sent to the internet or to any cloud. It stays only on your device (the computer, tablet or phone you are using), stored inside your browser.

  • No one else sees them: neither we nor anyone else can access your photos or your albums.
  • The PDF is also made on your device: when you download it, the file is created right there, without going through any server.
  • Only on that device and that browser: if you open the site from another computer, your phone or another browser, you won’t see your drafts.
  • We count visits, not photos: the site uses an anonymous counter of how many people visit (no cookies and no personal data). It doesn’t see your photos or your albums.
  • Advertising: the site shows Google ads, which may use cookies. The ads have no access to your photos or your albums either. More details in the privacy policy.
  • If you clear your browsing data (history, cookies and site data), your drafts and their photos are deleted too.

The photos in the album are copies: your originals stay where they were.

How to make an album

About us

For a long time we wanted to put together albums with photos of our kids, our trips, our family and our friends. On a phone or a computer hardly anyone looks at them, and over the years they end up getting lost. That’s how we came up with the idea for this site.

With AlbumFoto you organize the album your own way: you choose how each page looks, which photos go together and which words go with them. If you’re traveling, you can build it a little each day, while the memories are still fresh. And when it’s ready, you print it wherever you like.

It’s free and you don’t need to sign up: just come in, make your album and download it.
